I am happy to announce Dawn has our January 2012 Bride of the month! Her Christmas themed wedding was showered in beautiful red roses and poinsettias. Since this was an evening wedding we drew inspiration from the popular Lancome advertising and designed a soft smokey eye in greens, grays, and black. Her finishing touches with the eyes were lashes and black water proof eyeliner. We joked about her brows because of the bad experience she had a couple weeks before but as you can see a little powder and shaping hides everything! Her foundation was from Laura Mercier in Sunny Beige Moisturizing Foundation and we perfected the skin with a little Secret Camouflage. Dawn wasn’t to big on blush and the soft mixer of a soft rose color and bronzer brought out the shape of her cheek with out her feeling over done. I love that she kept it simple on the lips with a creamy lip color in a nude. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Natasha. Of all the decisions that a bride has to make while planning her wedding, her makeup is probably the most important being as though she will be looking at her photos for the rest of her life. At first I was struggling with the decision to have air brush or traditional makeup done. Natasha did not pressure me or try to sway my decision either way. She was such a pleasure to work with because she is very upbeat and positive and extremely patient! I decided to go with traditional makeup and I couldn’t be happier with that decision. Natasha actually showed up before me on my wedding day and did an absolute fantastic job.
