Congratulations to Bijal who is our March 2012 Bride of the Month!
When I first met Bijal she was nervous about having her makeup professionally done. By pulling ideas together, and finally getting to meet and fully design her beautiful wedding makeup, I believe we achieved the perfect look for her! I was so excited to show her one of my favorite Angelberry Organics Eye Shadows #31 which is a pure gold leaf loose mineral pigment.
Bijal was inspired by the traditional Indian bridal look but wanted to tone it down a touch since she wasn’t having a fully traditional style wedding. The pigment was gorgeous on her skin tone and brightened her eye area. We kept the black eye liner thin along the very top part of her eye lid and instead swept it into a cat eye wing. We finished her eyes with lashes and lots of mascara!
I loved how even though she is wearing a red wedding dress and lots of jewelry I find myself looking right at her eyes. Sometimes a little pop of gold is all you need! I am so thankful to have met Bijal and Julie (even if it was only for opening the door for me Julie!). With gay marriage finally moving forward in my amazing state I can’t wait to be apart of EVERY type of wedding in Baltimore.
Bijal and Julie, I wish you both the best of luck and a very happy marriage, thank you so much for sharing your photos with us! Special thank you to Julia Smith Photography for letting us use these awesome photos! and hairbyrochelle for hair styling.

There is no doubt that Natasha knows what she’s doing! I had never had makeup professionally applied before, and she was willing to work with me to get a look that suited me (not overly made-up and still looked like me). I would recommend Tasha to anyone for any occasion – she is professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and seems to really care about making her clients happy! –Bijal, DC
