Joan + Patrick Charm City Wedding featuring Maggie Winters Photography

Joan and Patrick were sitting in my home two days before the wedding. I tried to get Patrick into playing x-box with me while Joan had her makeup trial done in my home studio with Jordan, but alas, he followed her upstairs to give her support. Good man.

I love when our clients approch us with “I never wear makeup but for my wedding I want to do it up! Smokey eyes!”. It is a thrill to hear and we are always ready to still make you feel like you even with black eye shadow! Seeing the photos made me completely understand Jordan’s text saying ” They are having a carnival themed wedding I almost wish they asked me to stay it looks like so much fun!” The photos say it all and scream Baltimore. They started the day at Pier 5 Hotel then proceeded to Black Eyed Susan Restaurant, American Visionary Art Museum, and the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Joan and Patrick made sure to have lots of candy and sweets for their guests as well as fun carnival games to play with. Such a cool idea!

I have to give a huge thank you to the wonderful ladies of Lemon and Lime Event Design. They are so much fun to work with and the moment we ran into each other at a MWPA meeting I knew we would be friends. They have some really fun ideas and get excited over the large picture and even details as small as chalkboard name tags. I love their entusiaom and always cherish thier referrals to us. So thank you ladies! (a great job). Also, I have to say amazing job to Behind the Veil for doing all the ladies hair styling. The ladies that work there are experts in both hair and makeup and I am happy to say, even though we have the same business model we are good friends. Highly recommend them as well! Please check out Maggie Winters Photography’s work, she captured this wedding beautifully.
