All About Eyes Makeup Class

Yes, admit it, you have ended up on You Tube watching about 20 How To videos on getting a perfect smokey eye. Yet you end up looking like you just got in a fist fight with your girl friend. Don’t fret! We can help you here! The problem with those videos is that most of the girls in them are makeup artists themselves. They also tend to have a perfect almond eye shape and big beautiful faces so lets be real here, we all do not fall into that category. Your eye shape is the single most important part of your smokey eye because it determines the entire layout of color. It’s ok, it will be hard but the fun part about this class is that you can have fun with your best girl friends, learn how to smoke out your beautiful eyes, put on a pair of fake eyelashes, and finish the night off by heading to Fells Point or Canton Square to show yourself off and have a night of fun!

Class Syllabus

Your Shape

• I will provide all the eye shadows and makeup needed for this class. We will start by looking at example eye shapes and you will learn to identify which shape is yours.

Your Style

• I will show and explain the three smokey looks. Color, Natural, and Black. As a group you will begin by selecting the one look you all want to learn step by step. This does not mean you all will be using the same colors but the style will be chosen as a group so everyone can learn together.

Your Tips

• After the group selects their look I will give you direction on how to decide what products to use to achieve your desired look. Then, I will show you ways to hold a brush and which brush is used for what part of the face. If desired, I will make suggestions for things I think you are missing at home. We will do each step together as a group. Final step will be to put on eye lashes.

Your Help

• After completion you will receive an eye face chart and a space where you can write notes on what you learned. I will answer all questions about what you learned.

What to Bring With You:

Your Kit

• Please bring your mascara and favorite eye liner.

Your Brushes

• Bring all of them, no matter how short, cheap, or expensive they are. If you own none, be ready to explain how you put your makeup on! This is not a bad thing although I will be making suggestions for which brushes you may want to buy. Honesty is better in this class so I can custom cater to your needs. If you own none, I will supply you with mine for the class.

Your Makeup

• Please come with your makeup applied as you normally would which includes skin, cheeks, and lips. No Mascara or Eye Makeup please.
